How we research and compare tools

This page explains how public guides on LeadFormHub are written. It does not describe a named review board, a credential, or a lab test. Those details are not in the product repository, so this page does not claim them. If a sentence on a guide and a sentence here disagree, the guide should show a last-verified date, and you can ask for a correction.

How guides are researched and updated

Guides describe a job a reader is trying to do, such as choosing form fields, reading a lead source, or calculating abandonment. Statements about LeadFormHub come from the product code: plan limits, field types, OTP behaviour, exports, and which plan includes a feature. A guide is updated when that behaviour changes or when a dated check of a vendor page is refreshed. The visible “last updated” or “last verified” line on a post is the date to trust, not an undated claim elsewhere on the web.

We do not invent customer counts, star ratings, awards, or benchmark percentages. Illustrative posts are labelled as illustrative. They are not customer case studies and they do not report measured results. Calculators on the tools pages run the arithmetic you enter. They do not pull a private dataset.

How tools are compared

The comparison on best form builders for lead generation uses seven checks: lead source capture, verification and spam protection, lead management after submission, notifications and follow-up, integrations or webhooks, limits and pricing clarity, and whether someone can add a field and publish without a developer. The page says there is no single winner. HubSpot Forms are described as the fit when the team already works in HubSpot. Google Forms are described as the fit for a free spreadsheet. LeadFormHub is described as the fit when the team wants a code check on a form it hosts.

LeadFormHub cells in that table come from product code checked on 19 October 2026. Competitor cells come from comparison files updated on 16 October 2026 or from a lead-tracking check of vendor pages on 18 October 2026. A cell that those sources do not confirm is marked “Not verified”. Competitor prices that were not re-checked are omitted. We do not publish a score, a rank number, or a user-review average.

How competitor facts are verified

A competitor sentence is used when it can be tied to that vendor’s public pages or to a comparison file that records the check. The post should show the last-verified date. If the vendor’s page has changed since that date, the sentence can be wrong, and the right next step is a correction, not a silent edit that drops the date. Features we could not confirm stay marked “Not verified” instead of being filled with a guess. That includes Typeform OTP on the 19 October 2026 table. HubSpot Forms, Jotform, Google Forms, and Zoho Forms are listed in that same table as having no native OTP in the comparison file dated 16 October 2026. Those lines are file claims with a date, not a fresh visit on the day you read this policy.

Conflict of interest

We make LeadFormHub and say so in comparisons. Guides that mention the product are published by the same company that sells it. A comparison can still name another tool as the better fit for a stated job. That disclosure is not a review score, and this site does not use Review or AggregateRating markup.

Corrections

If a price, limit, or competitor fact is wrong, send the page URL, the sentence, and the public source that contradicts it. No public corrections email is stored in the repository. Use the contact page or support. A correction should update the sentence and the last-verified date. We do not pay for corrections, and we do not offer a review incentive.

Who reviews a guide before it is published is not documented in the repository. Until that is written down by the owner, do not describe these pages as expert-reviewed or independently tested.
